The Bronx Zoo and Fake Pandas

Red Pandas. I was excited to get to this exhibit and introduce Little E to the Red Pandas. Okay, I was excited for myself too. I’d never seen a Red Panda, but they had to be in the same realm of cuteness as the adorable, fuzzy, loveable Giant Panda for the namesake. You’d think so right?

Not so much. In fact, they’re kinda creepy. Red Pandas are more closely related to raccoons and possums than bears (you can read more about that here).

Watch your wallet around this guy. His eyes are kinda beady and shifty.
